We develop specialized classes for a number of targetted groups. Depending on the issue, these tailored classes may include either mat work and equipment work components or both. Pricing is dependent on the program developed but commensurate with pricing for our traditional classes.

Description
Rehabilitation
This class is tailored to individuals suffering from the effects of accidents, illness, overuse or those with congenital issues.
Athletic Performance
It's no secret that athletic performance can be enhanced with the increased body awareness, core stabilization and physical disclipline that Pilates brings. Some of the athletes who benefit from improved performance through Pilates include: golfers, rowers, runners, swimmers, cyclists, skiers, tennis players and triatheletes.

Pre- and Post-Natal
Pilates before and after childbirth is one way to keep the body gently toned and able to recover from the rigours of childbirth more quickly. Charlotte was doing her Pilates program right up until four days before the birth of her daughter. She was able to resume her Pilates work two weeks later. Your doctor's permission is required for this class.

50+
We run a 50+ mat class geared to the needs of those in their middle years and beyond. We also encourage seniors to join together a combined program of mat and equipment work to maintain flexibility, muscle tone and muscle mass. There is no upper age limit for Pilates - Joseph Pilates and his wife Clara both practised the Pilates Method into their eighties.
Men Only
While it's true that more women than men practise Pilates, this trend is slowly changing as men realize that Pilates can compliment their healthy, active lifestyles.
